Using a Private IP Address, a Private VPN... while using Tor

last year

I am attempting to conceal my identity, or I should say the identity of my computer by hidding my ip address and also preventing web sites like Amazon and Facebook from installing cookies and flash cookies onto my hard drive. If I were to use a private ip address, a private vpn, and then browse using the Tor browser, would this be a good solution?

No, this is stupid.

Consider using VMWare or VirtualBox, make your own Virtual Machine (there are several common installations with Tor already onboard - such as Tails, or TorVM) and restore your Virtual Machine every time from backup copy. This will definitely remove all flash cookies etc, and also protect your "Host" computer from any exploits/malwares.

VPN doesn't add any extra security against web sites.
