One use for TOR might be "secure" browsing in a hostile environment, ie hotel networks. Another might be to bypass content filtering restrictions as TOR connections are "encrypted." I would not recommend performing any kind of secure transactions (online banking, etc.) via TOR though as endpoints ma

The best might be connecting to a "server" at your home through a ssh, and from there, to the internet. Using a old computer connected to the net might work... although a better "ssh + vpn" option might be available... any other ideas?
